A Casualty of Teaching for Testing

Not that it suprises me much, but a high school teacher confirms that creative writing is becoming a casualty of the focus on standardized testing.
That creative writing award I won in 8th grade was pretty meaningful. Too bad some kids are going to miss out on that kind of recognition.
