I watched a one-hour documentary on Ernest Hemingway last night. I’m not a Hemingway fanatic, but the guy was a writer. He worked hard at writing. And he kept himself writing by looking for that one true sentence. I can respect that.
So, in the spirit of Papa, here’s a few true sentences about the latest in my post-MFA world.
I have written 10,000 words of my NaNoWriMo novel. I will write more.
If you don’t lock up a nice double-stroller, someone will steal it.
To buy an apartment in Brooklyn is a difficult task.
I await turkey with great anticipation.
